Clean up your Facebook feed
To hide Sponsored posts, suggested posts and friend activity in your Facebook feed, install UnAlgorithm Feed, a free extension for Chrome. Facebook support is in preview: it works today, and some filters stay in the strictest strength until they’ve been checked on live feeds.

Hiding people and pages you don’t follow will join Balanced once it has passed an accuracy check on live feeds: not one post from a friend or a group you’ve joined may be hidden by mistake.
How it works
- In your browser. UnAlgorithm reads the Facebook page you already have open and folds away the posts you don’t want. The rules make no network requests, and it never clicks, posts or browses for you.
- A thin line, not a gap. Every hidden post leaves a line you can open, and Why? explains it, with one-click fixes and Undo.
- Private by design. Even with AI on, author names, profile links, group names, comments and images never leave your browser. Read the privacy policy.
- Fails open. If Facebook changes its layout and detection looks wrong, UnAlgorithm stops hiding and tells you.
Good to know
- Facebook must be set to English for now.
- It works in Chrome, or another Chromium-based browser, version 130 or newer, on a computer.
- See something hidden that shouldn’t be? Click Why?, then Wrong call?, or Report a problem in the toolbar popup. Reports carry no post text or names.
